Designed and developed by Sterling Rope and Alpine Training Services, the ATS is a versatile, lightweight rappel device. The curved frame allows it to be used with a wide range of rope diameters for both single and double rope rappelling techniques. The patented design of the ATS, with its four hyper horns, allows the user to add friction mid- descent and lock off the rope. The heat-rated grommet insert keeps the device oriented correctly to help prevent cross-loading of your carabiner. The ATS is truly a universal rope control tool.
